You know you're in bad shape when you NEED a kicker to make a block to win a ballgame.

I'm a Cowboy fan and I blame the lose on two things poor play calling by the offensive coordinator (And Bill Parcells plays a role in that) and poor execution. If the Cowboys make a first down on the third down play or Tony Romo handles the snap properly the issue of Gramattica being a blocker never comes to light.

The radio sports talks shows in the Dallas area are just humming right now about speculation as if Parcells is going to return. There is even a story about him putting out feelers through intermediaries for the N.Y. Giants G.M. position and getting turned down.

My personal opinion is that Jerry Jones gets rid of Bill Parcells. He has absolutely no offensive imagination and he tends not to let his assistant coaches use their imaginations or have a lot of respect for their input. The offensive game plan against Seattle was a perfect example of this. He also got thoroughly outcoach by one of his former assistants, Sean Payton, when the Saints whipped up on the Cowboys this year.

If he stays they need to get a top notch offensive coordinator. There are also rumors that the current defensive coordinator, Mike Zimmer, could end up on Atlanta.
