Way to go Sooners . . . Texas had not been shutout in 24 years. Good game Longhorns!

Well, it definitely looks like Oklahoma will definitely be in contention. The problem is, now that USC has gotten past Cal, it doesn't look like there's a legitimate threat to knock them off. Maybe Notre Dame but they're playing at the Coliseum.

Well, LSU won't finish #1, that's for sure. Geez, they're struggling to stay above .500 right now Of course, I have no room to talk with the way my Noles are playing tonight.

I think LSU is gonna do it again. They did so great last season, they will probably make it to at least the playoffs for the title. I want to see another LSU Sugarbowl win and another National Championship for LSU.

LSU will probably win, but I still wouldn't count out Oklahoma.

The first BCS rankings were released today and the top 7 go like this:

1. USC
2. Miami
3. Oklahoma
4. Auburn
5. Florida St.
6. Wisconsin
7. Utah

I only go to #7 because that is where the big interest ends. If Utah were to move up one spot by season's end, they'd be guaranteed a BCS bowl berth. That would make them the first non-major conference team to achieve that feat.

Oh, I forgot about Miami. I'm sure they have a chance at numero uno this year as well.

Even thought the Trojans ran over my Huskies this week, I will have to say they are the team to beat. My other choice would be Auburn.

hawkeye fan here, their picking up steam, but no chance for nat.champ., but i would not count out Wisconsin. they are winning and are playing tough. Alvarez is as good a coach as there is. i spose i just put the hex on them(only cuz the hawks play them the last game of the reg. season, lol.)

stagday

Looks like only USC can keep Oklahoma from being Number One.
