I know that this is really a last minute idea, but I know that many of you follow NCAA football. We'll see how many people are interested, and I'll find out if the work load is something that I can sustain.
I will provide a selection of games with the point spread. Just pick the winners, keeping in mind the point spread. Please keep your picks in the same order as the list of games to make tabulation easier. Because I included the FSU-Miami game, entries must be in by 8 p.m. EDT today.
There is no prize except the winner for the week may include in his signature line: I won the Valeogut Challenge! Good luck!
Here goes:
FSU +2 @ Miami, Fla. -2
UCLA -2 @ Illinios +2
Central Mich. +26 @ Michigan State -26
Penn State -3 @ Boston College +3
Michigan -13 @ Notre Dame +13
Ohio State -17 @ Marshall +17
North Carolina +22 @ Virginia -22
Arkansas State +41 @ LSU -41
Wyoming +11 @ Texas A.& M. -11
Georgia -8 @ South Carolina +8
Tiebreaker: Pick the total number of points scored in the LSU-Arkansas State game.

The winning choices, with point spreads, should have been:
Miami
UCLA
Central Michigan
Boston College
Notre Dame
Marshall
Virginia
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina
Tiebreaker: 56
We have a winner on this first week of Valeogut's NCAA Challenge!
Congratulations trudat, who had 7 correct picks and who missed the correct tiebreaker score by 9! jcgolfpro also had 7 correct picks, but missed the tiebreaker by 11.
trudat may use in his signature line for the next week, if he wishes: I won the Valeogut NCAA Challenge!
Thanks for playing. Next week, I'll post the games Wednesday or Thursday.
Too bad the Indiana game wasn't one of them...I never doubted my Hoosiers...yeah right.
Yeah, well, who woulda thunk it?
Quarterback-a Notre Dame reject, goes 6 for 18, but heaves a TD.
Running back scores on a 91? yard run.
First 2-0 start since, what '95? '96?
My Buckeyes were very lucky to escape with a win. I knew that Tressel-ball would make the game close, but that was ridiculous. The freshman quarterback at Michigan and inexperienced QB at Ohio State are going to open up opportunities for the other Big Ten schools this year.
