What are the odds on the American Ryder Cup team being a surprise winner this weekend?

Colts over the Titans even though they're only underdogs by a point. My other picks would be the Browns over the Cowboys and Chargers over the Jets.

Yeah, victory, I like the Colts today, too. If they can just avoid the turnovers, they should be fine, even though the Titans will be tough.

I'll go out on a small limb and pick two underdogs who are playing on the road: Rams and Steelers. The Falcons have a new offensive system this year, don't they? And didn't the Steelers rough up the Ravens last year?

And l.g., at this point (Sunday morning), I think the odds of our lads winning the Cup are running about 14-1 against. Those Euros continue to amaze. This will be the 7th time they've won in the last 10 competitions!

What a game by the Bears over the Packers. Favre and company have just owned the Bears the past few years but it was great to see the Bears to pull out a win in Lambeau. Too bad I started Quentin Griffin instead of Thomas Jones in my fantasy football league. Too bad Mike Brown is out for the season. What a big loss for the team.

I'll say. Here in NFL North-land, that game was the talk of the town... for about 24 hrs, till the Eagles beat the Vikings. Despite some disastrous early-Sunday picks (see earlier in this thread), I won the weekly office pool by picking the Eagles and (to win the tiebreaker) getting closest on the score. Today, my coworkers were all grousing about poor officiating, etc. Just gimme the money, says I.

Poor officiating? I guess the Terrell Owens TD wasn't really a catch but from what I saw, it looked more like the Vikings not being able to get over the goal line. 3 field goals and a fumble on the one inch line just doesn't do it. It worked out for you, though.

I am a football official and I just have to ask....where did you see a "one inch line?" Most football fields I've worked on use yard lines! Sorry, referee humor alert!

Move into the 21st century, leaguegolf! The networks can put "yard" lines in anywhere they want to!

Imagine the surprise of kids who go to a live game for the first time: "Dad, where are the yellow lines that show where we have to go for a first down?"
