Here is the list of this week's games in valeogut's NCAA Football Challenge.
Make sure to consider the point spreads when making your picks. For instance, this week Iowa gets 13 points against Michigan; therefore, add 13 points to Iowa's score at the end of the game, or subtract 13 points from Michigan's total, to determine the winner.
Please give your picks in the same order that they appear on the list to make tabulation easier.
Iowa +13 @ Michigan -13
Purdue -20 @ Illinois +20
Washington +10 @ Notre Dame -10
North Carolina State +9 @ Virginia Tech -9
Penn State +3 @ Wisconsin -3
USC -22 @ Stanford +22
Alabama +5 @ Arkansas -5
Clemson +18 @ Florida State -18
Syracuse +25 @ Virginia -25
Michigan State -2 @ Indiana +2
Tiebreaker: What will the final point total be in the USC-Stanford game?
Good Luck to all! (and let's hope that we all do better than we did last week!)
Here are my picks. Hopefully the winner this week can get more than half correct.
The only consolation is that our picks for the Ryder Cup weren't much better. Actually, that was more embarassing, since we are supposedly avid golf fans and only part-time football fans.
Come on guys! I know there has to be more than the three of us who wants to do something like this. We're making it too easy on valeogut. He only has to check the picks of three of us. Let's make him work!
Michigan
Purdue
Washington
NC State
Penn State
USC
Alabama
Florida State
Virginia
Indiana
Tie Breaker (yeah right!) Points = 58
The things we do for our friends
Congratulations to Keith, this week's winner. Sixty percent of the participants this week failed to achieve a 50 percent success rate--you know who you are. I was the least accurate this week.
Of course, Penn State's losing their numbers 1 and 2 quarterbacks didn't help my cause either. I may just stop eating cheese in protest.
