NCAA Football Picks Contest #6

Here we are at the sixth week of valeogut's NCAA Football Challenge!

victory has won the past two weeks, edging out yours truly last week with the tie breaker score. Let's see if he can continue his domination for a third straight week in the face of a determined group of college football fanatics.

As always, give your picks in the same order that they are presented in the list of games, and make sure to consider the point spreads when making your picks.

The only prize is pride--and the ability to add to your signature for the week: I won valeogut's NCAA Football Challenge! Ahem, there is a certain member who has been displaying that line in his signature for the past month! You know who you are: Either win again or delete the line from your signature.

Good luck to all pickers!

Pick Leaders!

So far the pick leaders for valeogut's NCAA Football Challenge after 5 weeks are:

valeogut - 22 correct picks

victory - 22

Keith - 17

StlCard - 16

ForgedRbest - 14

NDShim - 14

Since I'm the only one to have made picks in all 5 Challenges so far, I have an unfair advantage that will dissipate with the white hot picking of victory (4 weeks) and Keith (only 3 weeks)!

Anybody want to edit his picks?

Chris Rix is still a no-go for FSU's game against Virginia on Saturday.

And--Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn is still slated to start, but he suffered a concussion in Saturday's game with Stanford.

Anybody want to change his picks?

No one picked Virginia yet, so why on earth would they want to change their picks? I'd change mine to UVa if I knew Rix was going to start...

I just picked Virginia. But you're right about Rix. I think Bobby is being very smart to keep him out of the lineup until he's "completely healed." Have the Seminoles found their Rix fix?

I think Bobby would be even smarter to keep him out of the lineup until he's "completely graduated." I wouldn't trust Rix with any big game. The Noles this year are best off handing it to Washington and Booker and sneaking in a pass once in a while to keep defenses honest. Rix throws way too many balls up for grabs.

Sorry!

Sorry, guys, but for personal reasons I will not be able to continue to conduct valeogut's NCAA Football Challenge.

Perhaps someone else could pick up the ball that I've fumbled here?

Thanks for playing.

It's iffy whether I am around on weekends valeogut, but this weekend I will be around so I can finish up this weekend's picks for you. Sorry to hear that you can't continue this game...

I can compile all of the scores. As with the Pick 'Em games here, I am unsure as to when I would be able to get all of the scores done. Sometime Sunday but maybe as late as Monday. If that's fine with all of you, I will take over.
