CONGRATULATION!!! What a GAME last night. I was pulling for your team in your honor. The 2004 World Series teams is a good match and they will give us 7 very close nerve racking games. And I will be watching every bit of it. I just hope someone finally talked some sense into that pitcher for the Cards, Tavarez, that he has a broken hand and don't jump into the celebration with the guys and damage it more. Crazy Nut. But I do understand that he wanted to celebrate with his teammates. But one thing for sure, they wanted to win and got the job done.

About the Yankees. A-Rod is seeing that "What Comes Around, Goes Around". Did you read the article on Curt Schilling comment on A-Rod. Schilling did not bite his tongue with his comment.

Sorry, this is not about golf. But since I don't have you e-mail address this is the only place to contact you.

B.E.

Yeah, congrats. I'm rootin for the Cards by the way, because of Larry Walker (not to mention I'm not fond of Boston). I hope Larry has a big part in the win. He worked so hard for the Rockies without any reward. Well congradulations again!

I moved this thread from the General Golf Discussion to here (The Clubhouse) so it could get better attention.

Yeah, I add my congrats to stlcard_25, who has to be one of the Redbirds' greatest long-distance fans! Hats off to ya, bud!

True. Man, your all the way up in Pennsylvania, and you still root for them. But when the alternative is the Phillies, well, I can understand your choice. That is almost as bad as the Rockies, who are almost as bad as the Tigers!

Actually Dave, I'm much closer to Pittsburgh than Philly, closer even to Cleveland than Philly as well. Not that they are good options either...I just took up a liking for the Cards when I was a youngster and stuck with them.

Dear Card - from my view, you are still a youngster!!! :nodsmiley

Since I, as a youngster back in the dark ages, was an Orioles fan, obviously cannot root for the Sux, therefore.......GO CARDS!!!!!! Will be looking for my IM buddy tonite!

By the way, thanks to whoever is responsible for the wild new smilies - love them!

I'll be cheering for the Cards against the Red Sox. They've been the best team all year and hopefully they'll prove it in the World Series.
