Got Zook?

I know that it is a little early to start talking about this but should Flordia go back on fireing Ron Zook? He seems to be doing a really good job. I mean I wouldnt be saying this if FSU stops them on that 4th and 1, but now he looks great out their. I think it will be hard not to rehire him if he beats their instate rival and the nations 8th ranked team.

Well, since FSU really wasn't as good as their ranking may have suggested, I think Florida still made the right call. An anemic offense for FSU got them nowhere, now maybe they will throw the bum Bowden out and get a real coordinator in there to direct all that talent. Welcome to the Peach Bowl (if we're lucky) FSU. :letitallo

I think Zook being rehired is a possibility becuase of Spurrier deciding to go to South Carolina. I know Steve was #1 on their list and probably THE list. As for FSU, they are a good team but a team and the top ten can't have a question about who their starting quarterback is.

The FSU QB means nothing if the man calling the plays is clueless.

As for Zook, the school will not want to look silly by going back on their previous stance, so he is gone for certain.

That is true and yes the plays called were bad. I saw it all day in the Michigan game. I was going crazy. When you are down 16 in the 4th with 5 minutes left you don't throw the ball over the middle for five yards. You need to send it to the outside so you can get out of bounds. It just drives me crazy.

Bowden has been that way since he showed up in Tally...they need to get rid of that guy at all costs. A complete drag on the program. And a new QB coach would be nice as well. There's too much talent there not to be challenging for the title this year.

Yes there is a lot of talent of FSU. I think Sexton will be great once his time comes.

Lee or Weatherford will be the QBs once they get a year of experience in, if they stick with Sexton past next year I would be surprised. Those guys have a ton of talent if the coaches can utilize their stregths, but the way it has been going lately we'll probably end up with two duds like Rix.

Card - remind me not to root for any of the teams you prefer! Gracious, your record is not very good.

Just teasing, sweetie - couldn't resist the needle after your meltdown last night!

Wait are you talking about the FSU game? I don't know if I would call that a melt down. They were down the entire game and Sexton couldn't do anything and Flordia was fighting for its life and for Zook.

I was looking at the coaching openings at http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3215472 and I though about Zook. I think he'll take a year off but I kinda see a possibilty of him going to Ole Miss. It's still in the SEC and it is a team looking to rebuild after the loss of Eli.
