The 'Aints vs. the Cowgirls

Well, this weekend the time has come for the battle royale. The Saints vs. Cowboys, for all the marbles. The 4-8 Saints face off against the 5-7 Cowboys in Dallas for the right to be called the worst. OK, not really the worst, but certainly ONE of the worst. High draft picks are at stake for the team which can prove that it is truly more pathetic than the other.

To be honest Forged, I'm a bit worried about this one. It appears as though the Cowboys have suddenly figured out how to win behind rookie RB Julius Jones, and I have a feeling that they may pull this one out. However, with Vinny at the helm, it's always possible to lose, no matter who they're playing. So may the best team lose.

Well don't forget that the Aint's worthless offense, headed by "Smilin' can't hit the target at 5 yds. Brooks", will probably make the Cowgirls defense look like the number one defense in the league. Should be a good laugh. We will have to be online when this debacle plays out.

Oh, I'll be sure to be here. The Cowboys D is ranked something like 30th in the league, so it could be an offensive shootout in Dallas. Of course, it'll probably end 7-6 on a punt return, and interception return, and a missed extra point.

Exactly!! We have the Bills' first round pick and then they go on a tear, and now we are starting to win a few games...where did those prospects for two picks in the top 10 go?!? We'll need some "luck" to get two in the top 18 or so now.

That's okay, I'm pulling for the Cowgirls. I want the 'Aints to leave, that gives me more time for golf on Sunday's during the season.

Why even bother watching the games? I'm a huge 49er fan but I haven't caught many games this season. It's just too painful to watch.

The only Cowboys games I've watched were the Monday Night ones, and I think there have been three so far this season (Washington, Philly, and Seattle). Funny how as soon as the Cowboys start to show signs of coming around, like they did last year by making the playoffs, they get pasted all over national TV (emphasis on the pasted). I have always followed them, but they just can't get that same place in my heart that the Rebirds do unless they have a real shot at making the Super Bowl.

Good question Victory. If you were to see me watching an 'Aints game you would laugh your, well this is a family friendly forum so let's just say the remote get's a new set of batteries after each game, and the wife makes me go to confession for all the , and we are not even Catholic.

Hey! Wait a minute! What about my 5-7 Lions? They're going up to Green Bay (where they haven't won since '91) and facing an angry Packer team.
Don't ever count the Lions out of the race for the first draft pick!

Why you!! Hey, I don't think I have anything to do that day (besides study, and who needs to do that? OK, only joking there kiddos, studying is fun! ). I'd be out playing then too...except that I left my clubs at home after Thanksgiving break.
