What? A Hardcore Pats fan going with the Colts?! Yeah, sorry, but i think NE's secondary is just too banged up to stop Peyton and Co. Without Law, they're ****.
I have no idea how that spread thing works. lol. I know how the Point/Spread on the Lottery up here in Ontario works though. Plan to play that.

Reason: Inappropriate Language
for some reason i cant edit that. like i said, without Law (and Tyrone Poole), the Patriots are at a heavy disadvantage.
Got my Point-spread tickets today.
NYJ beat 8.5 (They must win or lose by 8.5 or less)
STL beat 5.5 (win or lose by less than 5.5)
MIN beat 7.5 (win or lose by less than 7.5)
NE-IND = boxed up (i got 2 tickets, one with NE cover 2.5 (win by 2.5 or more), and one with IND beat 2.5 (win or lose by less than 2.5))
so yeah, i'm confident with those.
Also got a pro-line ticket, where i said:
NYJ-PIT - within 3
STL-ATL - within 3
MIN-PHI - Min win by 4+
NE-IND - within 3
gonna be bad there. i dont think they'll all be like that.
Also got some "Props" tickets for the games....you bet on things like Sacks, QB Pass Completions, Longest Pass, etc. and if they'll be OVER or UNDER the values set by the lotto+gaming corporation.
Well I nailed the 1st one... Pittsburg straight up & the Jets with the points, though I was rooting for the Jets... kickers. Both the Falcons & Rams IMO so far. Can't stop anything...Atlanta is running wild & on both Rams TDs the receivers had no one near them ... ridiculous. It's too bad the NFC has to be represented in the Super Bowl this year.

Who are the Cards? Don't mistake that football team from St. Louis for the Cards....there is only one team called the Cards in St. Louis Mr..... :nodsmiley
Guess I got both my picks right as well....we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

ooooh, sorry card... though the Cards probably would've put up a better fight tonight.
BOLD PREDICTION - (may as well make a bold one , because I'm not doing so great with my regular picks)
Tha Minnesota Vikings will be the first .500 team to make the Super Bowl.
Tha Minnesota Vikings will be the first .500 team to make the Super Bowl.
This bold prediction goes against your straight-up pick of a couple of days ago, you know?
It may just be my natural Philadelphia sports team pessimism at work here, but I have a very bad feeling about today's game with the Vikings too. I hope I'm wrong, but you may really have something there, wazman.
My wife is begging me not to watch the game today, believing that my viewership will jinx the Birds for sure!

What's this? You two agreeing on something? I'll take the "conservative" approach and take the Eagles.....with a "liberal" dose of offense from both teams!

And I might say: It may just be my natural Vikings pessimism at work here, but I have a very bad feeling about today's game with the Eagles.
However, since I watched the Vikes lose 7 of their last 10 regular-season games, I just want their season to be over. Was disappointed that the Packers couldn't do it last week. Am confident that the Eagles will do it today. But I'm not sure they'll cover the spread.
Well...as long as....
McNabb completes under 22.5
Westbrook rushes for over 72.5
There's under 3.5 field goals
Over 3.5 sacks
Longest pass is over 47.5
First half total points are over 25.5
OR
Culpepper over 24.5 comps.
Westbrook over 72.5 rsh yds
Over 3.5 field goals
Over 1.5 fumbles lost
Over 3.5 sacks
long pass over 47.5
long rush under 23.5
long field goal over 43.5
I'll be set.
Oh and for the pats/colts:
manning uner 23.5 comps
brady under 21.5 comps
dillon over 97.5 rush yds
over 3.5 field goals made
over 3.5 sacks
over 1.5 fumb lost
longest field goal over 44.5 yds
What's this? You two agreeing on something? I'll take the "conservative" approach and take the Eagles.....with a "liberal" dose of offense from both teams!
Well, I've always been very offensive, but the defense of one of these two teams will probably determine the winner. Not to beat a dead horse, but we're not the same team without T.O. I would have really enjoyed watching the post-touchdown competition between Randy Moss and Terrell Owens. Now, that would have been a real contest!
