NFC Championship

This is the NFC championship

The Philadelphia Eagles vs. The Atlanta Falcons

My opinion

Philly

No T.O. = No Confidence
Unchallenged
Beat the Vikes, who did everything in their power to help Philly win.
Look as if they were going through the motions

Advice

Dont bring a knife to a gun fight!

ATL

Looked Strong all faucets of the game offensive, defensive and special teams
Ball Control
Killer Instinct
Hungry
MICHEAL VICK

Advice

HMMmmm... lemme see, Da Nada!!!!

Michael Vick will have to run for his life. The Eagles are vulnerable, but Vick will have to be at his sharpest, both running and throwing, or the Eagles defense will tear him apart.

Valeogut,

Good points, but the Philly defense did not show me a lot on last Sunday. They showed me that they can defend the pass, but were extremly vulnerable to the run. Which leads to my point "the Vick experience" a triple threat...

Well "Atlanta is the most overrated team in the playoffs" ... that's been my story all along and I'm sticking with it. I don't care how many games they won, they lost to the Lions at home ... the score was close, but the game really wasn't and they scored exactly 3 more points than they gave up all season. Eagles roll.

Yes, but unlike the Vikings, the Falcons don't have a passing game that the Eagles have to be much concerned about. They also don't have much of a running game other than Vick. I'd be surprised if this one is close.

Well, it sounds like you are Pro Philly all the way!!!

As far as passing goes = ATL will gain more yards in the air...
As far as rushing goes = ATL will gain more yards on the ground...Duggett, Dunn and eh, Vick
and lets not forget special teams

with all these advantages, I forsee another landslide 40+ points against the untested and possibly over rated Philly Defense. Who mind you will falter after being on the field for X -tended periods of time.

Huh? ...Vick couldn't hit a school bus 10 yards in front of him if it was moving at all.....

I'm not saying Atlanta can't win...because I think it will be a very good game, but there is no comparision to the passing game.

My pick---Phily.

Atlanta ran it up against the Rams, who might have a worse defense than the Vikings, and I'm a Vikings fan and to say that another team is worse defensively than the Vikings is REALLY saying something.

I think the Eagles will score enough to win.

I think the teams are pretty even. Home field, outdoors.....

My guess: Philly 20, Atl 17

ndshim, i'm a packer fan and yes, i do believe the pack's def. was the worst, the absolute worst in the nfl, in fact, it was soooo bad, i think it was the worst.

it looks as though the steelers are a team of destiny, but i'm gonna pick the pats to win it all again cuz of their coach and coaching staff. 2nd to none.

the philly/atlanta game is just a formality.

Not that it necessarily means anything, but the early line has the Eagles as 5-pt faves, with an O/U of 41. So, if Vegas.com is right, it'll be Philly 23, Atlanta 18.

(I guess the Eagles will have to miss an extra point and the Falcons will have to convert a 2-pt PAT.)

Eagles for sure. The Falcons are way overrated as wazman said. Not a chance in you know what that they're gonna hang 40 on Philly in that cold.

Philadelphia 24
Atlanta 7

Eagles in this one, however, the NFC is a very weak place, and neither will be a competitor for The Patriots in the Superbowl.

What?
