I really wasn't following the TOUR all that closely other than the cursory glance at the leaderboards to see who is playing that I know. Lo and behold in this weeks field is Todd Barranger. I hadn't seen him since the fall when he was recovering from his relapse of cancer which pretty much ate up last season. Good to see him back but he has a ways to go. hmmmm...now that he's back and TM sponsored...might be an option for a new driver since he usually has a ton sitting around.

Hey JC, I bet if you can't get one from him our old buddy HoMmy could hook you up
I guess Sergio isn't as hot today as he was yesterday. Even through 14 today. So it looks like Vijay is once again playing well and is tied for the lead with Sergio, and Scott Verplank and Jeff Sluman a stroke behind.
The PGA site said Maggert was disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.
Maybe he just couldn't add that high? Goes from shooting 69 to 82.....OUCH. Sad thing is I had the clown on my fantasy team, and he goes and pulls a Kevin Na on me
By the way, where is Tom Lehman. The last tournament he played in was the masters (tie for 13th). He skipped Hilton Head, an event he normally plays in, and he was originally scheudled to play in Wachovia but dropped out last Sunday. He's not even signed up for the Byron Nelson. Is he injured?
Well, this is odd. Tiger is 3rd in driving accuracy at the moment, 1st in distance, and yet he's making bogeys left and right. He's Even for the third round with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys. It doesn't make sense that he could be driving it that straight and still struggling. I think it's got a ton to do with his little layoffs that he likes to take...like not playing tournament golf for a MONTH! It's hard to stay focused when you're not playing all the time. But oh well, if he wants to make it harder on himself than he should then I guess that's his choice.

That is odd. Coming into Saturday's play Tiger was ranked in the top 10 (for this event) in driving accuracy but only t37th in GIR.
He seems to be having some distance-control issues and, from what I saw today, I think he played a tad too aggressively for a guy who's struggling with his distance-control. He really worked his tail off for that 73.
Probably my favorite thing about Tiger is that he NEVER, EVER mails it in. Playing well or playing absolutely horrible, he works his butt off for every single par or bogey, and scores the best he can that day! His language is sometimes unacceptable but his work ethic is something to admire!

Me too, except I had him for saturday too, I can never remember to check friday night.
I haven't seen anything but the highlights this week, Sergio is putting on a clinic. 19 birdies in 3 days
I'm curious if you were in his shoes, with a big lead coming into the last round, what would you do? Stay with the same game plan that has worked so well all week or play more safe shots and try to take bogey out of play?
