Moved up 22 spots and all my picks are left. I was sweating it for a while...I've got four guys at +7 and one at +8. But I guess in this format it doesn't matter what they're at (although being out of contention often results in blown-up scores for many reasons...).
Fifth place so far. I just want to thank you all for running this as smoothly as you are running it. Thanks guys !! It sure makes it intersesting for me since Phil has fallen off the map. The course is in great shape lets just hope the USGA doesnt mess with it to much the last two days like last year.
Out of curiosity, I think I'm going to start keeping track of a World Golf Rewind Rankings list. I got the idea from the World Golf Rankings and it will be something fun to watch. The scoring system works as follows:
As each Pick 'Em goes by, the weight of past tournaments goes down. The last Pick 'Em gets 100% points, the one before that gets 90%, then 80% and so on. So points will last for about 2 1/2 years.
So here are the World Golf Rewind Rankings going into the U.S. Open Pick 'Em.
One problem I see is there may be too many points given to the winner? As in, whoever wins the U.S. Open Pick 'Em would probably immediately move to #2 even without having earned any points previously. Maybe we can all discuss what points would be fair.
I have to admit, I benefited a lot since I was able to enter every Pick 'Em to date. I didn't do too great in the Masters Pick 'Em and am near the bottom for the U.S. Open Pick 'Em so I'm sure someone will take the top spot soon.
