I don't think so. If you get tired of watching, there are other channels...right?

Are you kidding? The more the better, especially for the Open. I am going to tape the coverage today and have it playing tonight when I am at work

I totally agree, just wish I could be home to watch. Although if I wasn't at work today I would rater be out playing a round then watching the pros. Either way I think the amount of coverage is great.

I would watch all day, but too many "LIFE" errands get in the way (work, laundry, mowing the lawn, etc. etc.)

It starts at 4 am here, so I missed the first 3 hours and it just got over at 1 pm. So no, it is definitely not too much, it gets over just in time for me to go play

I'm in agreement with the general consensus of the others in this thread...there's no such thing as having too much golf on TV in a day, especially during the majors. I only wish Augusta National would follow the other majors' lead and bring their coverage up to par with the other majors....

Come on! This is a golf MAJOR! You can never have enough coverage. Golf is different than other sports, because its not just a 3 hour game and its done. Since a round goes on all day, you need all day to cover it........

GO TOMS!

I just can't wait till the U.S. Open comes back to Oakmont in 2007, wife already knows I'll be out the door early each day to return at darkness...maybe if I bring home dinner each night I'd get back in the house...

ESPN and NBC have done the best coverage of any Golf event that I have ever seen excluding the fact that they put the ol' Berman as a commentator.
