Tiger's inappropriate action

I don't know if anyone else saw this, but just now after tiger missed an uphill putt, he raked the green with his putter. He dragged it right along the green while applying pressure to the club, scarring the putting surface for those following. I know he was upset, and although he did pat it down afterwards, it still damaged the green. That action was unacceptable and i think the USGA should do something about this.

1 iron, get off your high horse dude. "I never do this and I never do that...blah blah blah." Everyone makes mistakes and your profile says that you were born in 1988, which means you're 3 years younger than me and I'm sure you'll make a golf etiquitte mistake before your golfing life is over. I know I'm usually pretty good about following rules too, but that doesn't mean that I'm gonna criticize the pros as if I've got some kind of authority over them.

I would not call it an "innapropriate action." Tiger is obviously upset and I'm sure everyone has done something like that before in a round, and it's nothing to complain about.

Yeah who cares. Just like the idiot that called in to the USGA because he tapped the ball in the hole with the leading edge of hit putter in that one tournament.....WHO CARES!!

Don't you know you can't criticize Mr. Woods. After all they will tell you... he is intense (like no one else cares if they win or not), it wasn't such a bad thing after all (even if he did mess up the green for the folks following), everyone has a temper (don't need to control those things, guess that's why things like columbine happen), and the biggie....why does everyone pick on Tiger.

Sorry, but I agree with the few people who actually think things like that shouldn't take place regardless of who is doing it . It wasn't a breech of etiquette, it was totally uncalled for behavior in this so-called gentlemen's game.

EveryoneMany people may drag their putters, but Tiger did it intentionally into the grain and tore up the turf for about 24 inches. He made a lame effort to smooth it back down, but it will impact anyone putting over that spot today.
