HSBC Women's World Matchplay

Is anyone else watching this? I watched a bit of it tonight since matchplay always interests me and this could be a fun event. Annika made it by the first round, as did Christie Kerr and a few other big names. The marquis matchup tomorrow has to be Karrie Webb versus Paula Creamer though. It'll be interesting to see who prevails in that one. I think that they need to have a better system of setting the seedings, but supposedly the LPGA is working on a World Ranking.....so maybe next year.

I wanted to go see this event, it is about 25 minutes from my house, but you had to buy the week pass for $200. I didn't want to go for the week or pay that much for one day. I would think for a LPGA event the tickets would be alot more resonable. For the same amount I can go to the 3rd and 4th round of the PGA, can't wait for that.

I watched it. I think the most impressive one on the course yesterday was Paula Creamer. She won big. I hope she does well throughout. I would love to see her win. She is a super golfer.

It is at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, New Jersey. Annika snuck by today but Kerr and Creamer weren't so fortunate. Karrie Webb seems to be on fire this week.....I like her chances of taking this thing if she keeps up the solid play.

Annika just barely made it to the third round. That was a wild play off for the win between her and Tina. Only two more days to go; she is half way there. I hated to see Paula Creamer lose, but I still have Annika to root for.
