If you think that Tiger is not dominating think again.
A win at Augusta
2nd at the US Open ( Which he could have won )
Win at the British Open
The question is If he wins the PGA this year, I would have to say it is a better performance then when he has the Tiger Slam!
Why!
Because the field has gotten better, Tiger is still a great player, but the field is better than they were in previous years.
Will Tiger ever win a major by 12 Strokes again?
I doubt it, but he will still dominate the game until someone can finally play the game of Golf Flawlessly, and with Consistency.
Sergio, Ernie & Phil do not have a prayer to dominate like Tiger.
The Guy to watch for is Ryan Moore.
But I think he will fall short as well.
I also share the opinion that Tiger can (if not already) dominating once again.
Again...1st, 2nd, 1st.......who else can come close to just these numbers?
Throw in the last tourney (think he came in 2nd again), and what do we see?
Am I the only one watching that's thinking Tiger is still not "on" his A game yet like he wants? He may never get there, but I'm sure he's STILL trying to improve.
The margin could have been a LOT worse had he punched some of those putts in the hole.
But as usual, I just hope everyone is healthy so that we can see as time passes.
I love going back through old articles and see what has transpired since.
Do you all remember it was not too long ago, that everyone had started writing Tiger off as far as winning another major? Then boom, 1st, 2nd, 1st.....

Yes I remember those days. Hard to belive that wasn't even a year isn't it? I remember one sports writer talking about how just because Jack said Tiger would win again in dramatic fashion it dosn't matter. He then proceeded to show his "proof" that was Jack said the same thing about Greg Norman but then he never one another. My how the tables have turned...
If I recall, didn't Tiger shoot a 71 on Saturday? That's 1-under par in a major championship after hitting two tee shots in the gorse AND 3-putting a hole as well as hitting some lousy chip shots and somehow it's now "dismal"? LOL. If that's dismal for Tiger, then the rest of the field is in serious trouble every time he tees it up.
Tiger's better than everyone else in the world. Anyone that doesn't agree with that statement either doesn't like the guy or doesn't know squat about golf.
Well Tiger seems to have separated himself from his nearest challengers again, or they've separated themselves from him. I suspect a bit of both. Phil, Goosen & especially Els have all faded back into the pack. The only thing separating Tiger & VJ is VJ's balky putter. Even if he gets it back, though, how many years can VJ continue his great ball-striking ? The path is clear for Tiger to continue his dominance... Sergio maybe & some young guns to be named later ??? Am I the only one that noticed that most of the guys chasing Tiger last week are closer to their Champions Tour debut than their PGA prime ?
Everyone keeps talking about the "young guns" and all I'm seeing is "pop guns" lately. Especially in the majors. If anyone of them is going to step up and make a run at Tiger........now would be a good time to start.
