Great story...

I'm not quite sure whether this goes in Tour Talk or not, but it does have to do with the Tour a little bit.

I think it's just a great story. Thoughts?

Thanks for linking that, I'll have to keep my eye on the leader board for Kevin this weekend.

Now look what I found. I think this video is free, but I'm not sure. It's on PGATour.com:

Kevin Hall

Kevin Hall (the young man who lost his hearing when he was a kid) is in position to make the cut if he can hang in there for another 10 holes. He's -1 and he's about 1/2 way through the second round. He's tied for 63rd and the top 70 get to play on the weekend.

He has a great story and I'm pulling for the guy. But he's going to have to get a couple of birdies to make the cut. It looks like the number is going to be about 3 under.

ce, it's currently at -1, and it might move to -2, but I doubt it. Hall is at Even right now and needs 1, perhaps 2 birdies to make the cut.

Agreed, the cut should stay at -1, or maybe move to -2 at the lowest. Doesn't matter any more for Mr. Hall though, he got caught up in the rough and it took him 2 shots just to get out of it. Ended up with double boogie and he'd need to finish birdie, birdie, eagle to make the cut. Fairly good performance from him though until the 2nd nine of the 2nd round.
