Anyone planning on going to the World Golf Championship at Harding Park?
I was getting excited to go watch Ernie Els hit some tee shots but darn. I may still go. ANyone else planning to go?

Not going, but I am surprised to know that they are playing it at Harding Park - I know years ago they used to play a Tour event there - like maybe as far back as the 1950's, but didn't know the WCG was planning their tournament there this year.

From what I've read, they had a major renovation project in the past few years to restore the course to championship conditions with the understanding that if they did, they'd get a WGC and who knows what could happen after that. I don't know a lot about the course except that it is considered a gem of the bay area, so we'll see how it plays in October.
