What a chip from the deep rough to a foot (!) Under the circumstances, (lie, pressure etc.) that has to go down as one of the great ones, don't you think?

I am sure I know what I would have done with that chip under those circumstances.

Congrats to Phil.

I am glad to see him get number 2

This win will also likely jump Phil to 3rd in the world. Retief's 6th place probably puts him close to passing Ernie which he'll probably do by the end of the year. But a big win for Phil to get his 2nd major and move to #3 in the world. Congrats.

Phil was probably more nervous over that short putt than he was over that great pitch shot. I'm sure his fans were!

Congrats to Phil.........now get your son a haircut!

He had the game to bag it, though Love the 3rd decerves a mention for his consistency of scores through the rounds, & also for Bjorn for being able to pull himself from a possition of being no-where on the first day to being in contention for the lead itself from that no-where position. Would have been nice to see him bag that one... But was also gret seeing Phil work his magic on this weekend & pull it off.

Was great seenig a little know brit Greg Owen also come from no-where & make very concistent scores. I'll be looking out for him from now on, especially as he only lives up in the next county from here

He is a boy.....isn't he? Looking at him and his sisters I'm not entirely sure. I'm not suggesting a military cut but ringlets? Come on!

I swear, despite the announcers saying "Young Evan doing victory laps on the green!" I thought it was a girl, with the name Evan. I think he was even wearing a girl's tank top.

...

That boy ain't right.
