Europe off to a dreadful start ,down in five matches.Too many holes being lost to pars.Creamer is living up to her verbal challenge with four birdies in the first six holes.
What a great event it was. The veterans and rookies alike played some great golf. The European team gave a valiant effort but the U.S. players and fans were a bit to much. I cant wait til the next one.
I wish there was that type of excitement and enthusiasm in the Presidents and Ryder Cups. The men could learn a thing or two from these ladies.
A good win for the U.S ladies this week. Europe were on the back foot from the start when the singles commenced. Looks like the U.S. young guns will be hard to beat for some years to come ....I just hope it doesn`t give Lehmans gang any funny ideas next September ......
...well...The Ryder Cup is the most exciting tournament of them all............... IMO.
Agreed on the Ryder Cup being the most exciting...that said, this is the best it gets for the women, and the US team did well to beat a solid European squad. I think Captain Lehman needs to place some calls to Captain Lopez on how to get the team properly prepared. A practice session at the course for all the players a few weeks prior to the event...might not work in Ireland but I see no reason why it isn't possible when the event is in America.
Now Creamer can go back to school and learn some elementary grammar:
Next time she can say "the Europeans are going to get beaten"
"Get beat" - good Lord
Beat, get beaten, got whupped! :nodsmiley Any way you say it Creamer was right about the outcome.
Don't look now but those Cups that the Euro teams have been in possession of are finding their way back to American trophy cases. First it was the Walker Cup, then the Solheim Cup. Next it'll be the President's Cup and then......dare I say it?
Don't expect us to believe that line. If the European team wins another one next fall, we'll be reading you write about the "European domination of the Ryder Cup" for the next 2 years.

I was not intending to, but I would not want to dissappoint you.
Given the choice between beating the Aussies at cricket,or winning the next Ryder Cup, I'd go for the cricket,as we have not beaten them for nearly 20 years. Beating the Scots at football,Welsh at rugby ,Aussies at cricket and the Americans at golf are all highlights for any self respecting Englishman.
