Davies vs. Creamer at Solheim

Laura Davies, who has played in most, if not all, Solheim Cups did something very classy. On the last hole, when she was down 6, conceeded Creamer's putt which gave the match to the US. Paula's putt was too long to be conceded, but Laura gave it to her anyway. Davies' first putt came up well short and was still away. It was then that she conceded the putt. Now in my opinion, Paula's putt was not a condedable length. I think this was very classy of Laura Davies to do what she did.

Laura is a classy lady, but after the way Creamer had played, she was probably glad to get off the course.

I didnt see it all, but how amazing. A person (Davies) who can drive the ball like 100 yards further than Creamer and still Creamer just hands it to her...wow. If someone wishes to explain what happened in the first 12 holes, which I did not see, because I dont understand how that took place. Were her approach shots just totally dialed in?

A wonderful, classy lady is Laura Davies, she does a lot for junior golf in the U.K. a lovely personality with a marvelous sense of humour. It would be nice to see more of her type out on the ladies tour.

I've always like Laura. She is also a Ferrari freak. Owns almost 10 of them. Must be a cool person.

Laura Davies has always been a very interesting person and a classy player. Now, she's become one of the grand dames of golf. She is also reputedly a lot of fun to spend time with, always looking for some "action"!

The match was already dormie. Laura Davies would have had to make her long par putt and hope that Creamer three putted just for the match to be extended. While it was classy, it was fairly obvious the match was over.
