Presidents Cup/ Ryder Cup Question
If a player had a dual citizenship, lets say Canadian/German could they play both Ryder and Presidents cups?

I believe in that case it would probably go by where the player had citizenship first, ie where they were born.

Andrew Magee was in the running to make the American Ryder Cup team so I`m not sure I`m not sure whether it`s place of birth or citizenship???
...trivia question...who was the
American player (pga tour winner) who declared he wouldn`t play for
America should he qualify for the team...
C-B-C....

At one time in his career Tom Watson "declined" to play for the US Ryder Cup Team.

I, too, was unaware of that, League. What was Tom's reasoning?

I'm sorry.
It was
not Tom Watson.
It was Tom Wieskopf that qualified for the 1977 American Ryder Cup Team but did not play. Weiskopf elected to go on a hunting trip instead.
