BIG BREAK IV! Whos Watching?

I just wanted to see if anyone ios watching the BIG BREAK IV on the Golf Channel?

I watched the Las Vegas series a couple years ago and didn't really care for the women's only series last year but I think the USA vs. Europe was a great idea and I believe this is the best series yet.

Who do you think will win the BB IV?

My pick for the Finals is T.J (USA) vs. Thomas (Europe) with T.J. winning the exemptions.

The question should be who's NOT watching, since they seem to replay it about 9 times a week! (Maybe I just have TGC on too much!)

I was bummed to see Bart go so early, he seems to be a pretty likable fellow. Best of luck to him with his family.

My pick is Guy...don't know why, I just think he'll be there at the end.

Can't help but root for two-glove Tommy, though!

I think that the winner is going to be either Warren or Thomas.
Warren is the best and most experienced player there but he seems a little rusty, he'll be deadly soon.

Isn't the European Tour the same caliber as the PGA? So far, I haven't seen the players exhibit any tour caliber play. Maybe it's just too early in the show to be judging.

Let's not go there.

BTW, I won't be watching BB IV unless I happen across a rerun when I'm home for a break or something.

Some of the play looks staged for more drama, looks like the good guys are on their way back from a horrible start, stay tuned as things heatup. I like the format but it is taking to long to play out......

I have enjoyed all of the Big Break series but this on is special to me because I
have played Carnoustie (and stayed in the hotel) 3 times. Played the holes they
have played and have even been in the Ben Hogan room too!. Great golf
course with the hardest 5 holes in a row that I have ever played. Don'tnow who will
win but I will watch them all.

I must say that I enjoyed the women much more, even if their golf wasn't of a similar caliber. This is better that BB2 though.

BB IV is a commercial disgrace. It's trying to feed off of Cup fever with a bunch of guys who can't play. Whose Big Break is this? Why should we care?

Naturally, I'll watch nearly anything golf, but the whole show smacks of editing and fake excitement....and, as usual, the hosts are so phony I can hardly stand it.

There is too much other real golf that really means something to watch, thank goodness. I'll be watching that.

:)

The guy that shanked one into the shrubs will probably win it.

I got sucked into BBII. I just couldn't quit watching. This one realy isn't doing anything for me. I have fallen sleep on every episod so far. So I can't really say it is holding my attention.

I think BB is great it means i can get the mrs into watching golf on the telly box, without physically strapping her down to the couch.

I like the series.....but this recent one really lacks....

T.J. (U.S.) and Marty (Europe) I think will be the ending pair, despite the way Marty's been playing....

The show is "what it is", edited for entertainment. But, when all of the cameras and production people are there, in addition to the hosts and other players, there must be an incredible amount of pressure for scratch players to start sh@nking shots. Last night those guys were terrible with their wedges. I kind of like watching some of the over-priveliged arrogant guys hit skunky shots.

It is entertaining.
