Monty is in a good groove right now comming off his victory in Scotland. He's gotta be pumped after winning one in his home country. He hasn't had much success playing in the United States. It will be interesting and fun to see how he plays his next three rounds.

Monty was very well received at the Ryder Cup here last year. I think that the galleries here have moved past that, though there is always going to be the occassional meat-head.

The only real way we'll see how much "mo" Colin has is with a final-round pairing, last twosome, with Tiger.

Looks like Monty and Daly in the final pairing...not sure if they'll do threesomes, but if they did, Sergio would be included too. Interesting mix of guys at the top, and I'd expect an exciting finish tomorrow.

Anyone see McDowell play 18? Racking up an 8 on the last hole when you've murdered the rest of the course must be a sickener. I know about the 8 ,but the rest is a stranger to me.

What an awesome shot out of the rough by Tiger! I'm pulling for John, but Tiger is not going to go away. Great tourney today.

Wow, what a showdown on the back nine between Tiger. I don't think Tiger is happy about winning b/c JD missed the 2 footer on the 2nd playoff hole. I think it's safe to say we all feel bad for JD right now. He played great all week, but it seems like his "fast play" style caught up to him with 2 short misses that if he had just taken his time like Tiger and every other pro golfer does, he would have made them and likely won for sure. Congrats to Tiger, but even he isn't pleased the way it finished.

I'm sure Tiger wishes his birdie putt fell in, it would have been a much sweeter victory than to see John "nonchalant" that two footer.

I agree. The look on Tiger's face said it all. Sometimes they fall in your lap. However I have to give Tiger credit for coming from 3 behind on the back nine. He put himself in position...and it just worked out this time.

Hopefully JD will feel a little a better when he see's his next deposit slip.

I felt bad for Big John too, you could really see that Tiger did not want to win that way...but like someone just said, he did what he had to in order to put himself in position to win and he won again.

Wow what a tourney. I'm not a big fan of golf on TV. I watch the 4 majors, TPC at Sawgrass, The Memorial, Firestone and one or two of the early ones like Pebble, but when I saw the news clips on Fri. night I knew this weekend was Must See Golf. I doubt any of us was disappointed!!!!!! What a show. I was cheering for Daly. Almost.

That was an exciting event, and good for the WGCs as a whole. The course proved itself to be more than suitable, the fans seemed to be great and the players enjoyed it. A shame to see the event end on a three putt from 12 feet as it did, but sometimes bad things happen. Go get em next time JD, and congrats to Tiger.

Anytime Tiger and John are close in the leaderboard, it seems to be a little more edgy. I think these two really like the competition they bring out of each other. It is too bad John missed that shorty putt. WOw, if I could sink all my 2-footers. . .

Anyway, looked like both Monty and Daly choked a little. John just struggles with the putter a lot.

I personally, was pulling for Sergio!! I really wanted to see him win. He's been close a couple times, but hasn't been able to pull through on Sunday.

Well, congratulations for Tiger, he just has the instinct for closing the deal. Shame for Daly to blow it with his putting, he used to be known as a great putter. But he gave away too many shots with casual short stuff and when you're going down the stretch with Tiger you can't afford to do that.

Great to see Monty, Sergio, David Howell and Graeme McDowell doing well.
