You didn't say the food was better in Italy, or the wine was better in France. You said..

That statement claims that European food, wine, and beer are better than those staples in other parts of the world. I'm simply saying that some are and some aren't. Surely it's a matter of personal preference. In spite of what the rest of the world may think, American food isn't just McDonalds and Burger King. Although on a rookie caddy's budget he'd probably become a fast food junky!

BTW If you're not in France you'd be drinking imported French wines anyway. The same imported French wines that are available in America.

I'll concede the beer........but only if it's cold!

The beer is definitely better in Europe. The wine I would go for Europe as well, but there are plenty of good Californian wines. Food is all relative, but of course much American food is of European origin.

Where America wins is on the quantity of food...

I know the Caddie Master at the Winn in Las Vegas. Email me directly and I can give you his name. He's pretty new there, but may know someone or how to go about it. THANKS

Canada is the place to go if you want better food, wine, and beer.

I hope i won't have to explain why.

Because they have shorter flights to Europe?

I have had many excellent meals in USA ,washed down with excellent wine or a enjoyable cold one ,but.........

If you go to the Jo average restaurant in France or italy ,it will outclass the average USA eating house.

The French produce wines that are classier than anything American (or New World) .The premier cru Chablis, Sancerre or Pouilly Fume nails any chardonnay or Sauvignion blanc from California (or Australia) ,the reds in France from Bordeaux are in a class of their own. Italian barolo or Chianti and Spanish Rioja are better than any American red.

How can you compare them?

much American food is of European origin

Don't blame us for MAcDonalds

Yep but I am assuming that caddies are independent contractors....which means they pay all the medical insurance etc. That really eats into the take home pay.

It would be worse for me on a European bag. I would drink up all my profits.
