Welcome back Seve

Seve returns after two years today at the Madrid Open. He is playing under a lifetime earnings exemption .

Seve excites every lover of golf, either the right way when his short game takes the breath away, or the wrong way when his temper and sense of injustice make him explode.

Welcome back , Seve, you may not make the cut this week , but I'd love to see yuo win a tournament next year.

He wouldn't be Seve if he wasn't in the trees or another fairway...Seve from the fairway? Are you kidding me?

and I guess he wouldn't be Seve if he could not recover like the one yesterday. Under a tree, could not have full swing so down he goes on his knees and a 3 wood I think and here comes another miraculous shot. Welcome back Seve. Hope you make the cut.

He then got up and down from 100 yards to save par. Pure magic.

Like a lot of Seve holes, it started with a "Fore" and ended in a Four! Legend.

Odd left foot action from Seve today, Renton and the lads were discussing it at length... a little lift of the whole left foot at the top of the backswing... can't be good for accuracy, I'd think... But agreed, it was magic watching that classic Seve par save from the knees in the trees.
