That's a pretty strong prediction there Boomer! You realize that only two players have ever won the Masters in their first appearance, Gene Sarazen in 1935 and Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 (Courtesy of a Google Search).

Gonna go out on the limb and pick Tiger. With the added length of the course he's got too much of an advantage.

Wouldn't mind seeing any of those guys win, with the exception of Tiger.

That said, i'm going to have to say Ernie.

My surprise performance pick will be Ben Crane.

Sentimental pick has got to be Monty.

I'll take Tiger for the next 10 Masters and like my chances to win as many as I lose.

That said, if Tiger doesn't win, I expect Ernie to take it...he's due to sometime.

I would have to say TIGER! But since this is a two pick em' post.. If Tiger is off I would have to say the man who has finished runner up the past 2 years.

Between 1951 and 1954 Ben Hogan and Sam Snead took turns winning The Masters. A decade later, between 1962 and 1965, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus took turns donning the Green Jacket.

When this year's defending champion, Phil Mickelson, was forced to help Tiger into his fourth Green Jacket, I immediately set my sights on the 2006 Masters. I'm hoping like mad that Tiger will have to return the favor for Phil. It would also be cool, historically.

I'll pick Retief Goosen. Has been knocking on the door of another major championship all year. He's due to break through again....and soon.
