I'd rather watch this "Daly Planet" than the one on the discovery channel - you know, the one with the height challenged grey haired guy and the tall woman with the accent?
I will definitely be watching (Tivo rules) the Daly Planet. John Daly is sort of a hero of mine. As I was growing up, I never had much interest in golf. Whenever I saw it, the guys playing all looked like the upper class country club set which was vastly separated from the area and lifestyle I was growing up in, In other words, it seemed like a rich mans hobby. Most of the players looked like male models (pretty boys). John Daly looks like your average every day golfer. I like that. Makes him seem more approachable. Just wish he would start winning more.
I am looking forward to this as well. The commercial I saw was hilarious. John Daly on slow play: " You know you have played a long time when you have smoked a pack & a 1/2 of cigarettes." =tries to light a smoke= " You know you have played a long time when your lighter dies."
In one bite, I think he only left like a half of the left foot, before he could get it Kevin snatched it up and asked what the main course was since the appetizer was gone.........................
I guess I never saw him at the time or maybe I would have had him high on my list of regular sorta guys playing golf. Just think, he could have had his own show and the theme song could have been the Beatles, "I am the Walrus".
