i just got my latest issue of pga partners magazine and saw john daly on the front swinging a taylormade r5xx series driver ive searched and cant find too much about his equipment hes using now is his website says he sighned a deal with dunlop but does he use their equipment or something else any info or links to a site would be appreciated
If I'm not mistaken, his deal with Dunlop is for playing about 10 clubs in his bag. In the past, those have been his irons and putter and sometimes fairway woods. He's played with a Taylor Made Driver a lot and I believe he has been using Cleveland Wedges too.
He's been playing TM drivers for a while now. He switches them between a 510TP, 540XD TP and the 580XD TP. Last I heard he had the 540 in the bag. Haven't heard that he's gone to the R7 yet but he might when the R7425 makes it into his hands
I was on dunlops site a while back and there was a link you could click on and it took you to all the clubs John Daly uses and they were all dunlop. I've never seen him with anything but a dunlop club. As far as I know Maxfli is part of Taylormade but dunlop is seperate.

Funny you say that. We just had a discussion a few days ago about the fact that none of us ever seem to remember daly ever hitting a fw wd.
Isn't Maxfli-Dunlop part of TaylorMade now? I wouldn't think they would mind him playing clubs that come out of the same factory.
I think Dunlop is part of Srixon. I know that Srixon clubs are good and poplular in Japan but I thought Dunlop was kind of a value equipment here in the US .eg Dunlop Loco stuff

You don't see him playing Dunlop because he gets much better equipment for free from Taylormade or anyone else on tour.
If you want to know a little bit more about John Daly, hes going to be on Jim Romes show on espn in the the morning Rome seems to get the best out of his interviews should be a good show.......
