Tiger Woods didn't make the cut until his EIGHTH PGA tournament. Michelle has played in three. I think she will make the cut before her eighth PGA tournament.

Does that mean she will win at least 10 majors before Tiger too?

I didn't said she will win any thing, just making the cut.

I think this has adequately been covered before in the "Michelle Wie on the Japanese Tour" thread...you can read it by looking at the closed thread lower on the first page of new threads...hint, hint...closed thread.

Now, will she make the cut this week? That's the important question for the moment.

Thank you stlcard_25. I was about to relegate bogiedreamer to that wasteland myself!

I don't think any player at the Sony would be very happy being beat my Wie at the Sony.

When Adam Scott was beat by her 2 years ago, Butch Harmon, his swing coach, plastered Adam's locker with pictures of Wie.

It also adds extra pressure for players like Adam who finished behind her before.

She made a 6 ft 6 inch putt on the first hole she played.

It is very early in the tournament but there are
- 11 players under par.
- 41 players over par.

Doesn't sound like it's playing too easy so far.

I might make my Green Jacket just watching this round and commenting on it...
Tourcast says the hole is the 3rd most difficult, but is that just based on the start of the day, because nobody has played on some holes yet.

Oh no, a hole by hole update?
It is early, she will settle down. Both guys are Nationwide tour players, she certainly won't be intimidated by them, but will they by her? Actually probably not.

Wie had a great drive in 296 yards, much better than her two partners.
She is in good position, the only one on the fairway of the three of them.

Lucky she saved her par.

At least she doing better than Duval. He is +6 after 8 holes.
