Tiger and Tournament Committments

I heard on a local radio station that Tiger had promised to play in every PGA event. Given that he hasn't played in the following events and has a very predictable schedule (plays same events annually):

Hawaii, Hope Chrysler, Honda, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Booz Allen, Hartford, 84 Lumber, Greensboro, and Chrysler Tampa...(Don't count Tucson, Southern Farm, or Reno since they are opposite field events)

Either one of the following is true

1. Tiger lied
2. The radio announcer is misinformed.

Thoughts?

Tiger definitely isn't playing in EVERY PGA Tour event. That's just silly.

This is for his career, not in a season. If I insulted anyone's intelligence, I apologize.

That makes more sense and I can see where Tiger would say he'd like to play in every PGA Tour event at least once in his career. I doubt that it will happen but Tiger's comments probably make the Tour honchos happy.

Once the schedule is pared down that will be a considerably easier thing to do for him...unless he's going to count the late-season events that won't technically count toward anything.

I dont believe tiger says things that he does not mean, I think he has more character then that. But that is just my opinion from my limited insight into who he really is

I really don't think Tiger would announce something like playing in every PGA Tour event unless he meant it but I haven't heard or read anything to that effect. I'm with you. I don't claim to know Tiger any better than the next guy.

Isn't he the guy that lives three doors down from the family that sold the beach house to the real estate investor who originally owned the condo rented by the barber of Tiger's yacht captain? He really knows his stuff!

I don't see why it would be a lie, I mean, over a 30 year PGA career he should be able to play all the PGA tourneys at least once, there are about 40-45 events.
