This week's tournament surely offers several angles of intrigue. We've all seen and heard Michelle Wie's impact.
I am also very excited about four young and talented guys who are beginning their first full years on the PGA TOUR: Ryan Moore, Australia's Steven Bowditch, Columbia's Camilo Villegas and lefty Eric Axley, who finished 16th on last year's Nationwide TOUR money list in his first season on that tour.
Of course Ryan is the one I'm really watching. With all the Michelle Wie hype Ryan is not yet garnering much ink. But I think we are going to see something special from Ryan in 2006, and it all starts this week.
Cool! Maybe they'll be the guys to send that girl home after the second round!
While the young guns and the new guys may play well, it's Wie and her own play that will send her home after two days. I'm not rooting against her........I just don't think she'll make it.

2 years ago, at the Deutsche Bank Championship, I followed around the group with Camilo Villegas. For some reason I really enjoyed watching him play. At the time, he had a swing mildly similar to Sergio's with that noticable lag. And he could really hit the ball. Since then I often check the stats to see how he is playing.
I go to this tournament every year, and each year it becomes more and more difficult to follow Tiger's group. But that's nothing new, it's like that at every tournament he plays. See, I am a shorter guy, and unless I get lucky, if Tiger's around, I can't see a darn thing. So every year, Mrs. Dormie and I make it a point to check in on Tiger here and there, but spend most of the time following less popular players to get a nice, up-close look.

Neither am I.
I'm just one of the few that believe she should pay her dues by playing where (I think) she belongs...
as an amateur until she turns 18. Then go play the LPGA tour.

I also followed Camillo's progress last year, he seemed to do well each week. I also like the way they pronounce his name V-J-Gas.
