None! Because cats don't golf!

edit: oh, now i get it. "Cat" means Tiger Woods. Well, i still stick by my answer. But i think that Vijay and Phil won't win one either. So it's down to Els or the Goose. or maybe both.

I'd like to word thing a little bit differently this time for you League.

This year is the 70th Masters, 68 Champions have tried to repeat and only 3 have been successful, that's 3 Wins and 65 Losses, how's that give you hope?

The odds are against Tiger repeating here League not for him to repeat. I'd take the bet of $20.00 against the previous Master's Champion repeating each and every year, higher if you'd like to go...

Hope? I don't need no stinkin' hope! Did the Germans need hope when they bombed Pearl Harbor? Oh wait......wrong movie!

I don't put much stock into stats because I'm more of a results type of guy, but since you seem stuck in the past try this stat on for size......Tiger has won 3 of the last 5 Masters. You have to "hope" he doesn't make it 4 of 6!

And that would be a good bet......as long as it doesn't involve Tiger.

How many Masters do you think he's going to win in his career...30 of them over the next 35 years?

Not like I want to get dragged into this DEBET, but you may want to drop your signature tag line when making a post such as the one above.

"Those who say it's impossible -- are in the way -- of those making it HAPPEN"

Seems to be a contradiction doesn't it?

Nice catch there Kevin...but realistically speaking you cannot believe the he can accomplish the things that League proposes, honestly now?

My signature holds true to a belief that I have of things that I do and hold as a fire burning deep within me about a business I'm working on (in a nutshell)...it's an inspiration to me, I have quite a few folks who don't believe that I can pull it off or that it does not have merit -- I disagree with them, they disagree with me -- One day I'll pull it off -- I know that.

I bet if you talk with Tiger about it and ask him an honest opinion that he could perennially win the Masters most every year, he'd say that would be a great aspiration, but an unlikely scenario considering the talent that tees it up there every year....in Butlers Cabin he'd say that.

In the context of this conversation to apply the signature to Tiger's task at hand, although one could say it's impossible or instead not likely as I've been suggesting is all the reference needed....playing on words here is not something that I wish to debate....please leave my signature out of it.

Phil will always be HUNGRY! But it's for cheesburgers and hot dogs, not another major. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops a spot or two in world rankings this year. Same with VJ if he doesn't find his putting stroke again. Tiger, however, appears to be ready to pour it on again. The only thing that concerns me with Tiger is what might happen if his dad passes away this year.

Not necessarily.... in this case, i'm sure golf-a-holic DOES want to get in Tiger's way when he tries to make it happen - so he doesn't have to pay out an even bigger bet to League. His signature speaks the truth, but it's up to him to decide which side of it he wants to be on in each circumstance.

You know what BKG, I like your thinking there...never thought of it that way....however, in truth though the only way I could get in his way, is, well, uhhm...oh that's not practical either....LOL

You know, I was reading Golf magazines short article on Tigers caddy. He said that in the Master's tie last year with DiMarco, he said to Tiger, "Remember, this guy hasn't won a major. We've won a bunch. You know how to do it, but this guy's never done it - you have the edge". Tiger then birdied the first playoff hole. I really don't know how I feel about this topic which is why I selected the side with the best odds, but I do feel that Tiger is somehow in a league of his own, and just about any tournament he is his can easily be viewed as his to lose. I sometimes think that watching Tiger now must be something like watching Bobby Jones or a Babe Ruth in their respective times in history. Just a thought.

I am a Tiger fan believe it or not, but I'm a realist as a person and that overrides how I view a good bit of things in life...one thing that I definitely admire about Tiger on his profile on PGATOUR.COM is:

FAMILY: Wife, Elin

How about that one there League....
