I think Tiger's new swing

is absolutely beautiful. Just visually speaking, I think the one plane thing is just masterful to watch.

I think his swing is dreadful. He's a useless player.

It's a testament to Tiger's overall athletic ability that this his swing has a certain visual appeal.

My only concern is that he REALLY torques his body so hard. You have to wonder if he's going to be able to swing like that as he gets older or if it's going to cause an injury.

The old "sarcasm meter" is apparently not working. You might like to tap it a couple of times.

I know you were being sarcastic, but your sarcastic comment was at a genuine one. Not at a sarcastic comment itself. Maybe I'm missing something (I normally do, especially at this time of night), but the response to the sarcastic comment in the first place should surely have been on the lines of "Yeah, can't hit it for toffee". Sarcasm is usually used to make fun of something. If you agreed with him, why were you making fun?

Anyway, it's late and I'm for my bed. Have a good one

I don't think His swing has changed at all over the last 12 months.

He'll have to change it again. That swing is chronic back trouble waiting to happen by the time he moves into his 40s.

Maybe so, but it's getting the job done today. Currently -7 thru 11 with a 6 on his card.

He's alwys put that crazy amount of torque on his back, though, not just with the new swing.

What the heck is up with his inconsistant (and sometimes downright odd) followthroughs?

Tiger tries to play more types of shots than most pro's. He'll try fades, cuts, draws, stringers, punch shots etc. Some of those shots lead to abbreviated follow throughs.

Yeah, this is true. But sometimes it just seems like he is totally changing his swing and the followthroughs look like he is going to hurt himself.
