Thats kinda like saying if he finishes in 1st place then he will win

No that's saying if he does those things he's probably going to win.

There is a distinct difference. And saying it and doing it are two different things which is why I for one will be watching intently this weekend.

If Tiger can take less shots than anyone else over the 72 holes this weekend, I have a feeling he will win.

I never thought of it that way! So far he's fighting the flu and was fighting his driver down the stretch. Not out of it, certainly, though.

Tiger lost everything to the right today. That is not a course that is won from the rough like others have been

My point exactly due to his talent anyone with the best "greens in reg" and "fewest putts" will be the winner of any event

Right Now Tiger Needs Some Help

He needs two or more people to slip to +1 or worse to make the cut. He is currently tied for 72nd with bogeys on the last two holes and he is +1 after shooting a 74.

Looks like Tiger's paired with JB Holmes tomorrow...should be interesting to watch the battle of the old-school basher versus new-school basher. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how many times in the round Tiger outdrives JB? Given that Tiger's under the weather, I'm thinking not too many...4 maybe.

Old school basher?

I find it difficult to think of Tiger as an "old school basher". He hasn't even got ten years on the Tour. I still think of him as young, still learning, far from his prime, fresh new talent.

Tiger is probably in the prime of this career right now.
