If Tiger can keep it in the fairway he can win ANYWHERE. If he's inconsistent off the tee he's still got a shot if all the other aspects of his game are clicking. If he's inconsistent off the fairway and his short game and/or putting fail him he's toast.

He needs two or more people to slip to +1 or worse to make the cut. He is currently tied for 72nd with bogeys on the last two holes and he is +1 after shooting a 74.
Looks like Tiger's paired with JB Holmes tomorrow...should be interesting to watch the battle of the old-school basher versus new-school basher. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how many times in the round Tiger outdrives JB? Given that Tiger's under the weather, I'm thinking not too many...4 maybe.
I find it difficult to think of Tiger as an "old school basher". He hasn't even got ten years on the Tour. I still think of him as young, still learning, far from his prime, fresh new talent.
