As for individual players, I actually like some of your lot, Jim Furyk for a start.
It may be unfashionable, but I like Tiger. I think he is an excellent ambassador for the game,he handles the awful media very well , and comes across as a very pleasant ,intelligent guy.

Showing your age there, many youngsters don't remember back that far. Since it became Europe instead of GB&I , USA have won a few here and there.
Yeah, it became a European thing when UK golf went through a very dry spell of active tallent imo. This however seems to be a situation that has been reversed somewhat thankfully. Though I must say the new crop of European tallent seems to be improving too. (appologies if anyone is confused by the comment I've just typed as I've never considered the UK to be part of Europe)
