Is Jason Gore Playing Too Much

He hasn't taken a week off, and he keeps missing cuts. He's even planning to play next week.

I like Jason Gore but he's looking more and more like a flash in the pan.

He can afford to take a week off, why doesn't he. He is fully exempt through next year. I think a break can't hurt him.

You say that he's been playing a lot ? I didn't even know he'd been playing. That can't be good.

He hasn't missed a week playing. The only event he made money in was the Tournament of Champions (28th out of 28 players)

I think he needs a break for a week or 2. I know the usual schedule for a pro is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Just so they can get a life outside of the game. If you play too much you start trying to play too hard to make things happen when you are in a "funk". It good just to go away and have a beer or something, come back fresh.

Having missed 5 out of seven cuts, he is playing too little golf, at the weekends.

I notice he played in quite a few "Silly Season" events at the end of last year. Personally I think he got caught up in being a "media darling" and the time he probably should have spent tightening up his game for this season was spent enjoying the trappings of his newfound stardom.

I've notice very few rounds under par by Jason this year. Maybe between his Nike contract and other endorements he's just gotten comfortable and he's not "hungry" enough to focus on his game like he needs to in order to really compete on tour.

Gore has to play

Gore has got to ride this new found 'fame' out as much as he can.
The guy will soon be forgotten , so get the money while you can.

Well this isn't his first time up with the big leagues. It could be just a return to form. I hope not. He is a truly refreshing personality.

Well, Jason is tied for 3rd this week in Tucson, so hopefully this is his return to form.

The jury's out on whether he's been playing in too many events but he's definitely been hitting the ball too frequently.
