Are we getting the same pictures here in the UK. We see Mickelson nearly hole a putt and next he's under a tree. Tiger had a putt to win then he's in a bunker on the next fairway.

Is this the abridged version of yesterday's match updates? We only get the results at the turn and the end?

I`m not sure about this competition ...it has a superb line up of players , but I don`t like the course that much , but it does provide the excitement of matchplay ...but the eventual winner only has to beat 5 or 6 golfers to be crowned champion ...as opposed to the other 155 golfers he has to beat in order to win a normal medal tournament on tour !!!

Matchplay is ultimate test of mental strength though. You are constantly putting pressure on 1 opponent and pars all day can win the game if you psyche out your opponent. Unless you have played both competitively it is hard to know.

In a medal round there are different pressures.

Yours faithfully

FAncy Chad Campbell's chances against Tiger, Stenson shot 4 under and lost .If Campbell can avoid tugging the Tiger's tail a la Ames, he could have a good chance.

Well, Ames talked smack. Allenby dressed in Tiger's victory colors. I think Campbell should wear the Nike swoosh (which he already does) and put a Tiger head cover on his driver.

Indeed, it could make for some appealing matchups this weekend if they can continue their runs.

Just checked the tee times for round three, and Phil is in the group right in front of Vijay. I hope Phil remembers to wear his soft spikes today

This working stiff is dying to watch!

Tiger and Chad are on 18 now, with Tiger 1 down. Par 5... great match play finishing hole.
