Jim Furyk (just like him)
Justin Leonard (local player)
Ryan Palmer (local player)
JJ Henry (local player)
Kent Jones (grew up playing him in junior and high school golf)
After all the hype and the great year he had as a Amatuer I'd like to see Ryan Moore come through. Perhaps he already had his great year!?. This year he's had two missed cuts, a 45th, and three weeks off. Time to get moving.

I would love to see David Duval continue his up swing. He has made 3 out of 4cuts so far. I think that is 2 more than he made all of last year. You gotta pull for him! I would also love to see Michele Wie win just so everybody would shut up and stop talking about all the decisions she makes. It reminds me alot of Tiger's situation as he was coming on the scene. Most of the girls are just jealous of her talent, attention and her pocket book (although I agree with most that she should not number 3 in the world in the womens rankings). She played great today in Hawaii so lets hope she has a good weekend.
I'm from Pensacola, so here are my wishes for having the best luck (and success) this year: Bubba Watson, Heath Slocum and Joe Durant. And you won't find a finer gentleman on the tour than Joe Durant.

David Duval (him winning an event would be the story of the year unless Tiger throws up a 3 or 4 spot in the "majors won in 2006" category) and Luke Donald (he has the game, I expect he may pull off a big win or two this year).
Looked over this again and discovered that I'd left two golfers off my earlier list. All the best wishes for Jerry Pate on the Champions Tour and Ben Bates playing on the Nationwide.
