Goodbye ABC and don't let the door hit you in the ....

Can golf coverage get any worse then what ABC is putting us through ?
Another hour of Zinger and Finchy and it's time to jump off the nearest bridge.
Zinger sarcastic mumbling is bringing sports announcing to a all-time low and Finchy's love affair with foreign players is puke inducing " notice Stuart Appleheads thin waste , wonder if he drove his Lexus or Mercedes today "

Goodbye ABC and good riddance. At least , Johnny Miller knows and talks about golf.

I like Zinger and Faldo, not really too keen on Finch, but overall, I like the way ABC's coverage has gone recently.

I hope when ABC folds up their tents, that Faldo replaces Wadkins on CBS. Faldo should be doing the Masters.

Mike Tirico and Judi Rankin are excellent. They will always get work.

I will not miss Baker-Finch or Azinger.

I kinda like Zinger. Having said that, I like Johnny Miller and the way he announces as well. Zinger has been there, done that as has Faldo. I think that Zinger needs to stop worshiping Tiger so much though. Kinda gets old after a while. But over all, I think that Zinger, Faldo, "Finchy", Rankin, Kratzert and Haney do a raelly good job. Much better than Lanny Wadkins and Jim "Hello friends" Nantz. JMO, Simp

Wow, you are right! What an oversight on my part.

There will probably come a time where he is free on the weekend of the Masters, but hopefully that won't be for a while.

I've never been a big Faldo fan but give the man his due. He still knows his way around Augusta and I expect he'll be playing on the weekend.

Yeah, I was only teasing. I wish he would've played a little more than he did. He was a machine wasn't he? And to think the British papers use to refer to him as Nick "Foldo". Simp

Zinger would be a perfect foil for Faldo, but I don't know if he realizes that is his strongest role.

Which of the Senior Past Masters Champs Has a Chance to Make the Cut

They will probably compete. Maybe they should quit competing:

Gary Player
Charles Coody
Tommy Aaron
Ray Floyd
Tom Watson
Craig Stadler
Ben Crenshaw

Every man on this list has earned the right to compete by being a past champion. Who are we to tell them to stop?

I see a threadjack here. where's the moderators? geez.

I wish some network would give Lee Trevino a shot at expert commentary. He added to the game, maybe he could add to the announcing also. fwiw.

oops, I see it has it's own thread now. my sincerest apologies

How about Curtis Strange. I think he is one of the worst as well. He always makes it sound as if the pros are knuckleheads and dong everything wrong. Curtis if you are soo good then why are you not back out there playing? Hellooo!
