Impressive Field shaping up next week....

Not to take anything away from the WGC Match Play b/c it still should be a good weekend, despite most of the big names gone. But next week's field at Doral has been posted, and it looks mighty impressive. The top 6 players in the world (Woods, Singh, Goosen, Els, Mickelson and Garcia) are all in the field, among many other big names. This is when golf season really begins to kick into gear, with The Players Champ. and Masters on the horizon.

Certainly is a great field. Nice to see Zinger and Faldo playing too.

I'd like to see them paired together. They've had some epic battles.....and I'm not talking about in the booth!

Yes, great event, and if the weather holds form, I'd expect to see some of those big names right near the top of the leaderboard. If the event is half as good as the Woods-Mickelson duel last year, we're in for a treat!

Doral always seems to produce an interesting tournament. And with such a strong field this year I'm sure it will be yet another great event. Doesn't Doral become a WGC event next year?

Yeah, I think it'll be the replacement for the Amex...the CA Championship.

This has always been one of my favorite tourneys to watch. Pretty exciting line up, on paper it should be a good weekend.
