I probably couldn't name 7 guys in the field for certain, without messing one up. I like David Toms this week though, he's been playing well this season. Davis Love III may be set for a string of good showings, and Padraig Harrington is a solid pick to defend.

Funny as well, both of them picked Bubba Watson.
He wasn't able to win even once in 4 full season years on the Nationwide Tour playing about 20+ events each year, so I'm not really that confident of him winning soon on the pga, although he is a big talent and will surely win at some stage.

Couples is a former champion, and he played good golf for about 68 holes at Riviera.
It's always nice to see him play well

Thanks Colour for the acknowledgement.
I think the thing that helped me most in winning this competition, is that I actually picked the 7 allowed players.

So I picked the 1st and 2nd place guys. Well done to me, and let that be a lesson to the other posters. When given the chance to pick 7 players, don't just take 2 or 3 guys and lower your chances.

Well done to Luke Donald for a gutsy win. He was mentally strong when his putting was off and two or three other players were breathing down his neck. He held on, on a very difficult course where one mistake could knock you out of contention. What about that 6/5 iron approach shot on the 18th? Magnificent!!!

After a nightmare weekend for English sport , Luke Donald helped us forget a dire performance against France and a woeful one against India.

Good to see Donald win in the US. He is becoming very consistent as a competitor at the highest level.

Nick Dougherty had a good weekend in Singapore - narrowly missed out on defending his title there on the European Tour. He's been widely tipped to be a star of the future and he seems finally to be ready to justify the hype. Hopefully he'll make the Ryder Cup team and kick on from there.
