Tiger is to Phil as Michelle is to Annika
If Annika and Michelle bring their A games to the Nabisco, Annika should win by about 5 shots, while doing her customery ease off, with a big lead. Michelle has a great chance of 2nd though.

I was about to go into further detail on the Nabisco and the type of game needed for the course, but that should get a topic of it's own, closer to the date of tee off.

In this tournament, Annika is already near the lead. She has one shot to play, and is 1 shot off the lead, at -4. She has also not bogied any hole as of yet.

Birdie on the last whole and a share of the lead for Annika.

Looks like Annika and Creamer are tied for the lead going into the final round. Hopefully a shootout materializes between those two tomorrow!

After 3 holes of the 3rd round, Annika has a bogey. This is very unlike her. Call it rustiness if you like, but she did play very well in the first round, with 5 birdies and no bogies.

Seon Hwa Lee is in the lead with Creamer. Seon Hwa Lee was the runner up at The Fields Open, so maybe she can go one better.

I was very surprised at how well Creamer played the 2nd round, given that she had 2 poor tournaments before this.

The basic story so far though, is that Annika has let the others back in to the tournament. Will one of them take advantage, or will Annika get her game together.

Oops, bogey for Seon Hwa Lee, and Paula Creamer has the outright lead.
I was a little concerned about Creamer after the 1st round, maybe she is turning it around, but here is some warning. Despite what people may think about Creamer winning 2 tournament last season, and that this might make her a good closer, the reality is that she also let about 4 tournaments slip.

I'm still backing Annika to do it.

Annika has won again.

Not dominant, but still a win. As I said earlier Paula was in contention, but she hasn't won yet when Annika was in contention.
She has also let a few slip away, but she should be congratulated on getting her season moving in the right direction.
Both Paula and Michelle have a ways to go I think, before they can challenge Annika down the stretch if it is actually tight.

Congrats to Natalie Guilbis on a great round, the best of the day. Surely a win isn't that far away for her.

It was another sad tournament for Grace Park. Missed Cut by 6 shots, after scoring 79,79.
Another notable, Christina Kim missed the cut also.

Well done to Seon Hwa Lee for getting her second 2nd place in a row.

Annika, like Tiger did just enough. What kind of a season will Annika have. So far it is a 100% winning record. That's pretty good.

I think she was on cruise control going on 18, thinking about where to put the trophy. Another ho-hum victory really not as close as the 1 stroke would indicate. Minor thread-jack, Seon Hwa Lee , would be an excellent dark-horse pick in the Michelle Wie vs. ???? thread.

So the #1 woman player in the world who has won almost 70 tournaments is running from a teenager who hasn't won anything? Yeah...right.

Jeez, Annika won again...and with those 'clunky' 'shovel-like' sticks which aren't good enough for most of the guys on here.

Yes indeed Seon Hwa Lee is a good pick. That is why I already suggested it in the Michelle Wie vs. ???? thread.
Unfortunately someone moved my suggestion to the Let's argue about Michelle thread. You can check it out. It is post number 22 on Let's argue about Michelle thread.

Well, you can argue about whether MW should be #2, but there is still no doubt who is #1!

Tiger is to Phil as Michelle is to Annika
Let's be realistic here for a moment. Michelle Wie is a great physical talent. But at the highest levels of golf it's take more than physical talent to WIN AND BE CONSISTENTLY SUCCESSFUL. Right now, Annika has a HUGE EDGE MENTALLY over Michelle Wie and probably will for the next several years. Mentally there is no way that Michelle, a sixteen year old girl still learning what the world is all about can compare to Annika, a 35 year old mature woman that's played at a world class level for almost as long as Michelle been alive.
