Not to get into love and a hate thing, just a simple poll of who you root for or pros that you have grown to have an admiration for--whatever reason. And pros you really would rather not see on the leaderboard or just plain can do without. You can give reasons if you want. Here are mine :
Favs: Tom Lehman, David Toms, Brad Faxon, (honorary mention : Darrin Clarke)
Favs
Tiger: He's the best. Always want him up there. Adds to excitement.
Goosen: I love watching this guy swing. Nice guy, too
Couples: My favorite golfer.
(if I could add a 4th, I'd add Faldo)
Don't like
Garcia: Saw him in person at a tournament and was an ****Don't like him
Mayfair: Same thing. Saw him at Chrysler Champ. and was a jerk
Price: Can't stand the guy

Favorites
Phil Mickelson - Make sure Amy is around
Fred Funk - I like rooting for the underdog
Chris DiMarco - Competitor and never unemotional
I would add Greg Norman and Arnie on this list, but they rarely play; Arnie is and was the greatest ambassador for the game.
Not Favorites
Tiger - How about enjoying and smiling about being the greatest player once for real
Scott Hoch - Always compaining; seemed to be a whiner
Monty - Always complaining
I would add many of the faceless golfers that rarely show emotion while playing on Sunday.
Hate: (Ran through the Top 500 and here is every player that "rubs me the wrong way)
John Huston (talked to him at a tourney. He's a P@#$%.)
Scott Verplank (Okahoma State grad. Have friends who know him and don't like him)
John Daly (tired of his "blue collar life")
Mark Brooks (local guy. His golf course management company does a poor job with good courses)
Pat Perez (too much of a hot head)
John Huston (talked to him at a tourney. He's a P@#$%.)
Wow...that's surprising, cause Huston has a rep of being one of the nicest, if not the nicest guy on PGA Tour. I heard Azinger say one time that he's the guys love him. And he lived 2 miles from me a while back, and I heard nothing but great things about him.
2. Ernie Els, I love his swing and his easygong manner
3. Darren Clarke, I just like this guys style.
Three Least Favorite Pros:
It's not that I think these guys are bad people but there is somebody about them I don't necessarily like.
1. Ben Crane - I just can't deal with watching this dude setup and waggle.
2. Tommy Amour III - I"m just not impressed with this dudes ability. He's just a perennial journeyman. Proving you can make a very nice living on the PGA Tour just by hanging around enough to keep your card.
3. Hank Kuenhe - With his length off the tee you'd think the guy would get more out of his game. It's just kind of frustrating to watch him play.

I may have caught him on a bad day. Plus, he going to talk different to me than he is a fellow player.
