Eagle 2?
I was watching the tour today and someone holed out from a good distance away. The announcers called it an eagle two. What is an eagle two? Why isn't it just an eagle? This may be the dumbest question but I got confused when he said it. I thought it was a double eagle at first but then realized he said eagle two. Sorry if this is the wrong part to ask this in. I saw it while watching the tour so I thought it might work here.

The score for the hole was 2 and it was an eagle -> eagle 2.

Georolina ..... Inconsistant an eagle is two less than par regardless of what par is for the hole.
