Weather forecast at Augusta...

Hot and dry first two days, possible thunderstorms on the weekend. Maybe this brings more people into contention because Thursday and Friday are not going to be low-scoring days if the course is playing firm and fast, no one runs away with it, and there is less of a disadvantage in being a short hitter so tends to level the field a bit more. Course may soften up on the weekend but there is not going to be much separation among the big talent so it should go right down to the wire. I have a feeling this is going to be a good battle. There's always someone who says "This year even par will win the tournament" and then it never happens. But given the course changes and the weather I don't think anyone's going low.

-12 last year... I think about -8 would do it this year. Even with the added length, the greens are perfect as always and there will be a few with hot putters that'll keep the leaders well under par, IMO... barring any drastic weather changes of course.

Well, we haven't really seen a dry masters in a long time, so it's hard to pick a score. The year Mike Weir won it was dry the last 3 days, and only a handful of guys finished under par. And the course is tougher now than it ever was. I'll go with 5 or 6-under par. Course will get tougher as the week goes on.
