Tiger being in better shape has nothing to do with Tiger being a better golfer. Look around every tour (Pga, nationwide, european). There are tons of guys in GREAT shape out there- that have trouble competing. Tiger is in a class by himself, and has little, if any, to do with his physical condition.
Guys like Nickalaus, Travino, Billy Casper, Byron Nelson, etc. rarely, if ever, concerned themselves with conditioning of any kind.
Tim Herron is a fabulous talent and looks like the Pilsbury Dough Boy. (duffy "Waldorf" salad was and is a great athlete by the way).

Back to the original thought. Solid is right.

Last year, third at The Masters...leader going to the final round at Pinehurst...Fifth at The Old Course...Sixth at Baltusrol. This year, runner-up at Sawgrass and another third at Augusta. Retief is money.
