Tiger being in better shape has nothing to do with Tiger being a better golfer. Look around every tour (Pga, nationwide, european). There are tons of guys in GREAT shape out there- that have trouble competing. Tiger is in a class by himself, and has little, if any, to do with his physical condition.
Guys like Nickalaus, Travino, Billy Casper, Byron Nelson, etc. rarely, if ever, concerned themselves with conditioning of any kind.
Tim Herron is a fabulous talent and looks like the Pilsbury Dough Boy. (duffy "Waldorf" salad was and is a great athlete by the way).
