Lots of Order of Merits, lots of European Tour wins, not a single victory on American soil, good success in Ryder Cups but alas............ no major championship for Monty
Can't seem to remember a Phil Mickleson win in Europe, but I suppose that winning a Major on US soil covers that?

How often does Phil venture over there? Seems to me that of all the top pros, Phil travels the least.

David Howell or Rod PAmpling are under rated by some.

Monty is a flat track bully who has a fragile temperament . He is a much better player than 6 of the last 25 USPGA winners, but he has never done it 'across the pond' and that means he is not as good as he likes to say he is.

Sutton,Green,Tway,Grady,Azinger,Brooks,Elkington,D L3,Beem,Toms,Sluman and Micheel have all won USPGA in last 25 years, I would only place Azinger ,Toms and DL3 above Monty overall with Sutton as an equal

Better late than never, 1231963. FWIW, that's what I thought you meant.
