Question Guess Who's Getting A Wie Send-Off

Greetings ...

As most should know by now, the 84 PGA Tour's 84 Lumber Classic is history after the 2006 tour season.

But the tournament isn't going away without trying to make a little noise.
Today, they have offered Michelle Wie a sponsor invitation.

And life goes on .................................................. ...............................

Wie has played the Sony Open.
She is due to play The John Deere, which is fine.

It says she accepted this event in September, and I know of another event in August, the Reno Tahoe Open, that has offered her an exemption. She has not yet accepted.

Sorry to be a desenting voice, but I think 4 pga events, would be too many in one season.
2 sounds fine, and it could stretch to 3 fairly okay, but 4 is too many in my opinion.

Depending on how well Wie does in the meantime, maybe my opinion would change.

I hope it isn't too much too soon, although I understand the argument for experience being great.

Gosh, that's a fairly big splash...I was at this event last year and it was a very nice course to walk and view players on. It might be a madhouse with Wie this year.
